# How to draw on a Notion page while presenting

Notion is where a lot of plans, specs and roadmaps live, so people end up presenting straight from a page.

Presentation mode helps with the layout. It leaves pointing to you.

## Notion's Presentation mode (Plus, Business and Enterprise plans, in beta)

Dividers split a page into slides and the page enters full screen.

1. Add dividers to split the page into slides.
2. Press ⌘⌥P, or open the ••• menu and choose Present.
3. Move with the arrow keys and press Escape to leave.

Good:
- Turns an existing page into slides fast
- Toggles still open and close while presenting

Limits:
- Notion's help page lists no drawing or pointer tools
- Links don't work while presenting and there are no speaker notes

1. Start Presentation mode, or open the page you're walking through.
2. Press ⌃⌥D and circle, underline or write.
3. Use the spotlight to dim everything except what you're discussing.

## Tips

- **Check your plan first.** Presentation mode is limited to Plus, Business and Enterprise, so a free workspace won't have it.
- **Share the whole screen.** On a call, sharing a single window won't include your drawings, so choose your entire screen.
- **Each full-screen app keeps its marks.** Present in full screen and swipe to another app. Your Notion drawings stay with Notion's Space.
